| Payment and Polices Polices College Campus Tours, LLC (hereafter referred to as CCT) is engaged in the business of arranging and conducting escorted tours of college campuses for groups of middle and high school students. CCT performs a wide variety of services in connection with these tours, including; organizing and preparing College Selection Workbooks; life coaching; designing tour itineraries; arranging air and/or ground transportation; arranging hotel accommodations; arranging on -campus activities, such as overnight accommodations and/or visits with admissions officials and faculty; and providing support personnel to accompany the students and enrich their campus visits. CCT often takes photographs during campus tour programs for later use in scrapbooks, visual displays, and other promotional materials.
Reservations are converted to a contract / confirmation after CCT has received the appropriate deposit and a signed contract or a complete registration form. This charter or reservation is not for a specific mode of transportation and CCT reserves the right to substitute equipment. CCT will provide transportation from the tour initial pickup and drop off designation. CCT is not responsible for events beyond its control such as traffic, weather, safety conditions, mechanical problems or other acts of God. In the event these occur, and CCT cannot complete the trip, CCT will not be responsible for any losses or additional expenses as a result. CCT is not responsible for any theft or missing articles left on the mode of transportation. CCT is not responsible for occurrences such as an airline's failure to honor a confirmed reservation or transportation it has contracted to perform. The chartering party or registrant releases CCT (and its employees and agents) from any claims arising from the failure of any airline, ground transportation company, hotel, restaurant, or other supplier of tour services, arrangements, or accommodations, to perform as set forth in any tour literature. The chartering party or registrant understands that unanticipated events or circumstances may make it necessary for CCT to revise the itinerary for my tour program, including the cancellation of visits to one or more cities or college campuses. If such events or circumstances arise, the chartering party or registrant agrees to abide by CCT's judgment and decision. The chartering party or registrant will not depart from CCT's established itinerary at any time. And the chartering party or registrant will release CCT (and its agents and employees) from any claims arising from the cancellation of my visit to any city or college campus.
The chartering party or registrant is responsible for: a. Any interior damage to the mode of transportation or equipment. b. Any damage to the vehicle or injury to the passengers as a result of chartering party or touring individuals not following CCT safety rules or directing the driver to deviate from his ordinary route. c. Any injury to other passengers initiated by other registrants. Payment Payment Schedule:
Payments: must be paid in full, by check, money order, or cashier check (If you are paying by credit card, please add a 3% fee) Security Deposit: To execute this contract or reservation, the chartering party or registrant will sign this form and pay a security deposit of $100.00 or 20% of the charter fee, whichever is greater. The tour fee is due as follows: i. security deposit to reserve tour is due 90 days prior to departure; ii. 50% of balance is due 40 days prior to departure; iii. The final payment is due 14 days prior to departure A $25.00 fee will be charges if a check is returned. In the event that a greater number of passengers than specified are carried, than The chartering party or registrant will pay CCT a pro-rata additional payment for each passenger above the number specified. In the event, for whatever reason, there is any outstanding balance due to CCT The chartering party or registrant agrees to pay CCT the outstanding balance plus costs and interest beginning on the date final payment was due at the rate of 15% per annum. Cancellation: Upon execution of this agreement, CCT is reserving the above transportation for the chartering party or registrant. In the event that the chartering party or registrant cancels for whatever reason, the above deposits will be kept by CCT as their liquidation damages.
Furthermore, if the chartering party or registrant is paid accordingly and then cancelled 30 days prior to departure, than 50% of the tour cost is forfeited. If balance is not paid, all monies previously applied may be forfeited and chartering party or registrant may be cancelled. No-refunds will be made for no-shows on the day of departure. All notices including cancellation must be in writing.
