Testimony from past football tours

During the Fall 2010 football tour to Louisiana, Darius Tenney found his match.  Through this tour he was able to connect with the Tulane University coaching staff.  Tenney displayed great character, academics, and athleticism.  The College Recruiting Tour Program was able to link him with Tulane University. Currently he is a freshman WR majoring in Public Health.

In the summer of 2009, College Recruiting Tours launched its program by bringing 25 high school football players from Westlake, Collins Hill, and Buford High Schools on an Alabama-Mississippi college tour. This tour exposed the students to six colleges in three days. A total of sixteen football scholarships were offered to students on this tour.

Winter 2012 Track & Field / Cross Country Tours

Track & Field-

Cross Country and Track are considered one sport by many colleges so coaches tend to give out more distance scholarships than field and sprints. A typical mix might be 8 distance and 4 field and sprints.  Therefore, college track and field coaches look for athletes who run summer track (USATF or AAU) and for those that attend track and field camps.

There are 271 Division I and 148 Division II colleges that offer track and field scholarships for men. There are a total of 5,303.7 scholarships in the NCAA. For women the total number in the NCAA is 8,510.

There are 252 Division I and 101 Division II colleges that offer indoor track and field scholarships for men. For women there are 290 Division I and 108 division II colleges that offer indoor track and field scholarships.

The NCAA allows each Division I college track program 12.69 scholarships for men and 18 for women. In Division II the ratio is 12.6 for men and 12.6 for women.
