Our experiences in working with a multitude of colleges enable us to obtain meetings with admissions representatives, noted professors, have student led tours, and view campus housing. College Campus Tours cover all aspects of college life. Since 1999 we have toured small, medium and large schools, rural and urban schools, and public and private schools. This program has serviced over 5000 students. Of this number 70% have been accepted to schools visited.

U.S. News and Princeton Review have noted that college tours and campus visits are an absolute necessity for college bound students. It is very important that students visit a variety of college campuses in order to determine which type of higher education institution is better fitted (large or small, private or public, urban or rural, etc.) for them. Therefore, College Campus Tours is dedicated to providing superior college tour services for student groups. To demonstrate this fact we have brought students to various locations throughout the United States. For example, in the West—University of Colorado, Air Force Academy; in the Midwest—Northwestern University, DePaul University; in the East---Hampton University, Georgetown University; in the South—University of Houston, Florida State, Duke University, Southern University, and Jackson State University; just to name a few.

Benefits for families:

• Selecting a college results in a four-year plus commitment, not to mention a very expensive one. Choosing a college without exploring all available options could be a costly mistake. For example, spending five years in a public college or university will average over $45,000. A five-year stay in a private college or university will cost more than $160,000.

• Travel arrangements, lodging, meals, coordination of campus meetings, and tours are facilitated by College Campus Tours personnel thus saving parents or school personnel time, effort, and expense in planning such a tour themselves.

• College Campus Tours provides a small and personalized group tour environment where students have firsthand exposure to each campus setting, the college's curriculum and overall advantages as explained by college representatives and student tour guides.

• By learning the admission requirements of colleges they visit, students will be able to set academic and personal goals early in high school, which in turn increases their chances of being accepted by their college of choice.

• Exposing students to several college campuses when making their decision ensuring ultimately a better match between college and student.

There is no substitute for seeing a
college campus for yourself!

There are several ways to evaluate a college, from brochures to video to college fairs. But nothing beats going to a college and seeing it for yourself. A campus visit is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a college. Since, college websites and catalogs are limited at best; visiting a college will enable you to really get a feel for the school. You can walk around the quad, sit in on a class, visit the bookstore, or visit the dorms. Also, a college visit gives you the chance to meet faculty member, financial aide staff, admission personnel, and current students. These current students can give you answers to questions, such as:

• What are the average class size, and the students to faculty ratio?
• How are the dorms kept up?
• Is the library adequate?
• Are most classes taught by professors or by teaching assistants?
• What is the campus meal plan like? How is the food?
• What is the make-up of the current freshman class? Is the campus fairly diverse?
• Are the student newspapers independently produced?
• What's the social scene like?
• What kinds of activities are planned by the college's student affairs office?
Is there ample space in dorms or does there seem to be a housing crunch?
• How many students live off campus?

Spending time on a campus allows you to determine if a school is a good match. You will obtain enough information that will enable you to synthesis the best decision.
